Housing Authority Jobs
Welcome to the Colorado Springs Housing Authority job site. The Housing Authority is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Our personnel work as a team to deliver our values and mission to the citizens of this community. We are devoted to community investment and seek organizational success by investing in our employees.
The Housing Authority follows the Federal Code of Regulations, Section 3 housing guidelines, to provide economic opportunities for low- and very low-income persons. In compliance with Section 3 procedures, all open positions are advertised by posting flyers in common areas or other prominent areas of housing development(s), posted in local media, and other public areas to ensure appropriate levels of circulation. To promote additional efforts to recruit low-and very low-income persons, The Housing Authority works with the local unemployment compensation office (Pikes Peak Workforce Center), to increase circulation of employment opportunities.
Vacancies are posted on our website on the Human Resources page. In addition to posting on the website, vacancies for certain positions are advertised with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, posted in the Housing Authority common areas, and in various printed publication throughout the City, including the Gazette and trade journals.
Applications are accepted through our online application system, or you may print an application and mail, or fax to our organization.
Applications are accepted only for current open positions.
Applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. MST on the closing date specified on the posting.
Candidates applying for open positions may be subject to skills testing, determined by the requirements of the position.
Candidates applying for positions are required to complete an “Eligibility for Preference” document, and submit proof of participation in a public assistance program, to signify that a Section 3 resident is seeking employment opportunities.
